04:26 pm - Whew OK, casting is, more or less done. I still have to send letters to the players letting them know who they're playing, and we could really use about 4-5 male players (or open minded females), but we have months to get them.
I am pleased with how things turned out. We only had a few square pegs and round holes, and I think things sorted out nicely. And I'm really looking foward to seeing these characters brought to life.
In any case, if you go to the web site, you can see who you're playing. If you have any questions or concerns, please e-mail me.

Looks good to me sir. :)
Interesting, any feel for why the shortage of males? Is that more common than I realized?

For some reason, guys don't seem to like musicals.
Not that I really care personally, but the description of my character is pretty lackluster. I'm not mentioning this because it bothers ME, but I could imagine if someone else has an equally lackluster character description they may feel a bit gypped, casting wise.
Just a thought.
Right now, you're just a name. We'll have full character sheets in a few months. Or do you mean the description on the shows page?
When I clicked on the name, I went to the "edit character" page, (wherein I was tempted to change it myself, since I'm supposedly a writer for this game goshnabit) and saw the current description.
Yes, but you can only see that since you have writer's access to the database. Most people only see the character name. If you wish to change the description there, please feel free.
Even though I have been casted, I could secondary cast as a guy, if you needed. I'd make a horrid one, as I'm very obviously female, but I've played guys before and can do so in the acting realm, even if not the physical realm.
Beyond that, looks ok to me.
I'll keep that in mind if we get more female players. Interestingly enough, the person playing you're character's love interest is a woman. Her name is Tegan. You may have heard of her. :)
Why Gee, I THOUGHT she looked familiar. ^_^
*Grins* Tegan and I play little kids well, as we were general horde-casting during the test run of Unconventional Oddyssea. (sp?)
Btw, how ya doing Mike? I have an email or 3 I need to shoot your way...um..sometime. ^_^;;; |
