09:32 am - A Snake! A Snake! Oooo It's a Snake!
One of the best things about riding my bike to work is that I get to cut through Claude Moore Farm Park. Besides not having to worry about insane drivers, I get to ride a paved path through woods and a farm.
Sometimes I see sheep. Sometimes I see deer, close enough to touch.

Today I saw this guy looking at a stick on the ground. As I got closer, the stick slithered away. A snake, likely a rat snake. So cool!

I need a bike riding icon.

Characters complete: 18, and should finish Svetlana tonight.

I think it's awesome that you're biking to work-- Claude Moore Farm park being part of your commute is a nice bonus, too! (Hooray for staying away from crazy drivers, and getting a more scenic trip with the journey!)

You are lucky. I have never lived close enough to my work to commute by bike. The shortest commute I had was 40 minutes by car.

We deliberately chose our house buying location to be close to where we worked.
